- Wedding dates are subject to availability and hotel confirmation.
- Required documents must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the wedding: passports, birth certificates and, if applicable, divorce certificate(s).
- Couples must arrive in Mauritius at least 3 days before the wedding ceremony.

Where does the wedding ceremony take place?
Your ceremony takes place on the beach, surrounded by black volcanic rocks, natural tide pools and the tranquil beauty of the Indian Ocean.
Can we personalise our wedding dining experience?
Yes. Your chef will prepare a bespoke wedding dinner that can be enjoyed on the day of your choice during your stay. The package also includes champagne by the sea, freshly baked pastries from the SALT Bakery, house wine with dinner and a romantic Tipi lobster dinner (excluding beverages).
What special experiences are included?
The package includes decorating your own wedding cake with our pastry chef, a Mauritian-inspired cocktail masterclass with our bartender, and a surprise romantic turndown prepared especially for your stay.
What wellness experiences are included?
You'll enjoy a guided meditation in the Salt Room, create your own signature SALT body scrub, and experience a personalised full-body massage designed with your therapist. The bride also benefits from a manicure, pedicure, hair and makeup with a trial, while the couple can unwind together with a signature massage featuring ylang-ylang oil and a chocolate body scrub.
Does the package include photography?
No. It is available as an add-on option.
What floral decorations are included?
The package includes a bridal bouquet crafted with fresh flowers. A beautifully decorated wedding arch adorned with fresh blooms and elegant draping is available as extra.
Will there be live music during the ceremony?
Yes. A local solo musician will perform your favourite songs, creating an intimate and memorable atmosphere.
Are romantic touches included throughout our stay?
Yes. Alongside homemade SALT chocolates, you'll enjoy a surprise romantic turndown with thoughtful amenities and décor to make your celebration even more memorable.
Can we support the local community as part of our wedding?
Yes. Couples may choose to donate meals, or meals and gifts, to 75 children in need, allowing their celebration to create a meaningful impact beyond the wedding day.
Are legal formalities included?
No. Legal and transportation fees are not included within the package. Our team will guide you through the required documentation and procedures before your arrival.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible. As SALT of Palmar hosts only one wedding per day, all bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
