Oh-So Local is designed for couples who want to celebrate Mauritius authentically. From locally inspired dining and handcrafted experiences to fresh island flowers, Mauritian cocktails and meaningful community initiatives, every detail reflects the spirit of the destination.

Where does the wedding ceremony take place?

The ceremony is held on the beach, framed by the island's striking black volcanic rocks and natural tide pools, creating an intimate and memorable setting.

Can we personalise our wedding dinner?

Yes. Your wedding dinner is prepared by our chef and can be enjoyed on the day that best suits your stay, giving you greater flexibility to celebrate at your own pace.

What dining experiences are included?

The package includes a bespoke wedding dinner with house wine, a romantic Tipi dinner featuring a lobster menu (excluding beverages), breakfast with freshly baked pastries by the sea, and the opportunity to decorate your own wedding cake alongside our pastry chef.

What wellness experiences are included?

You'll enjoy a guided meditation in the Salt Room, create your own signature SALT body scrub, and the bride will receive a manicure, pedicure, hair and makeup trial, followed by hair and makeup on the wedding day.

Does the package include photography?

No. It is available as an add-on option.

Are floral decorations included?

No. A bridal bouquet made with fresh local flowers and a beautifully decorated wedding arch draped in fabric and adorned with fresh blooms are available as add-ons.

Will there be live music during the ceremony?

No. A local musical duo can be hired to perform your favourite songs during the ceremony, adding a personal and authentic touch to your celebration.

Can we support the local community as part of our wedding?

Yes. Couples have the option to donate meals, or meals and gifts, to 75 children in need, making their celebration even more meaningful.
